This cake is one of my favorites and I am so excited to share it with you! It was a pleasure to meet with the bride, her mother and Alexandra Calvet from CCH Weddings & Events.
I immediately loved the design the bride had chosen, because it was bold and unique. The reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents and it was gorgeous! The cake sat at a table only inches away from a cliff. I was very glad the table was stable because if you bumped it to hard the cake could have toppled straight down into the lake below.
The photo’s below are taken by me:)
So, what do you think? I can’t wait to see pictures of the rest of the wedding!
Congratulations Heather and Josh!
We love adding elegance with fun and it came together perfectly with this traditionally draped wedding cake with the baseball playing bride and groom.
I will admit that carved, over the top cakes are my favorite. I love a challenge, so I couldn’t wait to take on the challenge of making edible beer bottles and XBOX controllers.
The beer bottles are made of rice crispy treats and covered in modeling chocolate. Yum!!!
The football and the controller are also made or rice crispy treats and the ice cubes are sugar.
So that leaves the XBOX 360 and the bucket, yummy, delicious cake! Can you think of anything else I could have added to this cake? Maybe a plate of buffalo wings?
How do 70 year old twin sisters celebrate their birthday? Any way they want! I was so excited to be able to make a cake for twins. We added in their favorite things to do: Go to the movies, sing karaoke and cheer on the Louisville Cardinals. These ladies sound like a blast to be around!
And what is a movie themed cake without fondant popcorn!
Happy Birthday Marilyn and Jakki! We wish out the best!!!
We just can’t decide which beautiful cake we like the most!
Can you pick just one?
Buttercream cakes are so elegant and traditional.
I just can’t choose:)

So, we were thrilled to make a cake to celebrate her accomplishments and give it as a thank you gift to her very loved coach, Ms. Tiffany.
Each of the dresses represent on of her crowns, so we thought it would be fitting to add an edible crown right in front.
Congratulations to Bella, her mom and her coach!
Each year, the History Center honors Central Floridians who have made a historic impact on our community. The 2012 John Young History Maker Present will be Ann Sonntag, Publisher of the Orlando Business Journal.
As a thank you gift at the end of the evening, everyone went home with Wendy Woo Cake Pops!
It was a wonderful evening and it was a pleasure to work with everyone from The History Center that helped make the evening enjoyable for everyone.
